aLex Levin and Jackie Shaffer invite you to our March 2020 weekend Silent Retreat in West Virginia at Moon Meadows Farm. This 36-acre organic farmland is located near Shepherdstown (just 1.5 hours from Washington DC). It is extraordinary to go into retreat in a place like Moon Meadows Farm. All the qualities of the earth engage, delight and support us to be present, to inquire with tenderness and to be drawn to truth and freedom. The land, the luxe-rustic farmhouse and fabulous meals are an ideal and welcoming setting for this offering of Deepening Into Silence.
About Retreat
The retreat weekend is structured with meditation (guided and silent), yoga, qi gong, Feldenkrais-inspired movement, and energy work. You will have abundant time for exploring, taking in the surrounding natural beauty, reading, resting and journaling.

A spiritual practice: each of us will bring our unique self to the community going into silence. As a group with a shared purpose, the container of silence vibrantly holds us. Intuitively, we are inspired to support each other’s silence.

Both aLex and Jackie have decades of teaching at Sun & Moon Yoga Studio and have collaborated leading meditation and yoga retreats for more than ten years.
